Davis Elementary School Evacuated after Receiving Bomb Threat
Two neighboring schools on lockdown. Bomb crews at the scene.

From the Davis Police Department:
At 1108 hours, a bomb threat was received stating there was a bomb on the grounds of North Davis Elementary School.
The threat also advised that authorities had 30 minutes to evacuate the campus. The school was immediately evacuated and occupants were moved to a safe location at the Davis Arts Center. (Covell Boulevard & F Street).

The Davis High School and St. James Elementary School were also placed on lock down. Davis Police Department, in conjunction with the Yolo County Bomb Squad, is in the process of sweeping the school for explosives or other devices.
Parents responding to pick up their children are advised to respond directly to the Davis Arts Center, please do not respond to the North Davis Elementary School.
