One Week In: Crews Getting Upper Hand On Wragg Fire With 80% Containment

Cal Fire reports the Wragg Fire, that began a week ago, has consumed 7,500 acres in Napa and Solano counties and is 80 percent contained as of tonight -- Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The fire intensity increased on the south side of the Wragg Fire on Tuesday and increasing the acres burned. Story here: Wragg Fire Flare-Up: 150 Acres On Tuesday Afternoon.
The forward progress of this fire activity has been stopped, Cal Fire said.

Meanwhile, tonight in Lake County, another fire, dubbed #RockyFire, is at 1,000 acres. The blaze was first reported at 150 acres this afternoon at 4 p.m. in terrain described as heavy brush and timber.
Evacuations are in place for residents on the north side of Morgan Valley Road for five miles east of Bonham Road, Cal Fire said.
The fire is traveling a rapid rate of spread, officials said. Personnel total 171 at the scene, and additional resources have been ordered. Temperatures are approximately 100 degrees, Cal Fire said.
