Timm Fire In Solano County Fully Contained, Cal Fire Says
Firefighters with multiple agencies contained the wildfire near Winters.

SOLANO COUNTY, CA β Firefighters have fully contained an 81-acre vegetation fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon in Solano County south of Winters and Putah Creek.
As of 5 p.m., the Timm Fire burning off Timm and Allendale roads was 100-percent contained, according to Cal Fire.
No structures were threatened, according to Cal Fire.

The fire was first reported at 2:39 p.m. Tuesday, according to Bruce Lang of Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit
"Eighty-one acres of annual grass burned, fire personnel quickly gained full containment with the help of air tankers, helicopters and dozers," Lang said. "No structures or infrastructure were threatened."

In addition to Cal Fire, the Dixon Fire Department, UC Davis Fire Department and Winters Fire Department responded to the wildland blaze.
The cause of the fire was not yet known, according to Lang.
