For many years I have heard folks mention Ayn Rand's last novel "Atlas Shrugged" and wondered what it was all about.

For many years I have heard folks mention Ayn Rand's last novel "Atlas Shrugged" and wondered what it was all about. So a while ago, while visiting my mom I saw she had a copy. I asked her if she had read it and she said she had bought it, but had many more to read before she got to it.

Some of her plot is far-fetched science fiction, but most of the novel is about the tendencies of people to withdraw from the public spotlight and about government run amok without regard to those who are true producers in society.

If you have read it - chime in with your thoughts. If not - find a copy. You can download free PDF's of it online. If I had it to do over I would have loaded it on my ipad, but my arms have bulked up after lifting it for so many days ☺
