Stonecliffe Animal Rescue Dog and Puppy Rescue and Adoptions

Stonecliffe Animal Rescue - Dog and Puppy Rescue - Don't Breed or Buy While Shelter Pets Die

"don't breed or buy while shelter pets die"

Hello Dublin!!!

We are going to start blogging about our rescue and our adoption events.  Stonecliffe Animal Rescue is physically located in Lemoore, CA, close to Hanford and about a half hour from Fresno.

Our shelter is made up mainly of kennels located on a private residence/ranch. The owner and operator, Terri Stonehocker does this work, rescuing and saving lives because she loves what she does, she saw a problem and faced it head on with what she could do.

Many of the dogs from the rescue come from high kill shelters in the central valley.  We are luckier than the folks down there that love dogs, Terri talks a lot about so many dogs getting dumped and abandoned.

So Terri helps shelters like Madera, Merced, Kings County Animal Services and the Fresno CCSPCA, Ventura county and others. here are so many adoptable dogs that just need a chance at life, a good home.

The good news, the people of Dublin and the Tri-Valley have been providing wonderful homes, great dog loving community and we love placing our dogs here.

We save all types and ages, puppies, mommie dogs, senior dogs and lots of young adults, we even save Pit bulls because we know the breed is not the problem, people that mistreat them are!

Over the last year we have had great success builing a volunteer network for our adoption events and foster homes for those that need some TLC.  We can always use more, so let us know if you want to give it a try.  We place approximately 650 dogs into homes and were trying to do more.  It's not easy work and I'm just a volunteer giving my insight, the real hard work the heartbreak, the how to choose which dog gets a chance at life, that's the stuff a lot of us could never do and we're so lucky the strong ones do it.

We hold adoption events every other Saturday at the Dublin at 6960 Amador Plaza Road from 11 am to 3 pm.  When you see the big white van parked right up on the sidewalk, you'll know Stonecliffe is in town.  We will generally have 30 - 40 dogs at our events, it's a big selection.  All the dogs are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated with all age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and wormed.

All of our available pets can be seen at www.petfinder.com/shelters/CA1005.html and you can watch us on  our facebook page, search Stonecliffe Animal Rescue.

Our next adoption event is August 11th.

At the end of August we will have 5 pekingese and shih tzu puppies, they are precious, keep an eye out for more posts later!
