City Of Dublin Signs 'First Of Its Kind' Agreement With US Army
The city called the agreement "a tremendous step forward in codifying the relationship between the two organizations."
DUBLIN, CA — Janitorial, pest control, and solid waste services at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area (Camp Parks) will be be contracted by the City of Dublin, in what officials said is a "first-of-its kind agreement in the San Francisco Bay Area ."
During Tuesday's Dublin City Council meeting, council members voted to approve the Intergovernmental Support Agreement with the United States Army to provide the city-contracted services from Tri-Valley Janitorial, Advanced Integrated Pest Management, and Amador Valley Industries.
The vendors can provide a lower cost and better standard of performance for the services than the Army could contract on its own, according to the city.

"While the City of Dublin and Camp Parks have collaborated on projects in the past — most notably the Camp Parks History Center — by using Memorandums of Agreement, or MOAs, this is the first IGSA and is a tremendous step forward in codifying the relationship between the two organizations," according to an announcement from the city.
