The class, hosted by Hope Hospice, will teach people about the changes dementia can bring.
DUBLIN, CA — Dementia dramatically changes the way we think, talk and perceive. Hope Hospice will offer a free class to help loved ones navigate these challenges at their Dublin office on Jan. 11.
People will learn about "the nature and progression of dementia and the various diseases and conditions that can produce its symptoms," according to a press release from the organization. There will be three more "Living with Dementia" classes in the new year.
Speakers will include registered nurse and dementia specialist Jill Smith, and community health educator Debbie Emerson.
