Dougherty Elementary Celebrates Spring With Carnival Fun For The Entire Family

This is the first year has organized a Spring Fling Carnival and this fundraiser is certainly going to be a big hit with teachers, students, families and friends.  With the Principal in the Dunk Tank, a Rock Wall, over 20 games and activities, two cake walks, a silent auction and a raffle, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Carnival always means lots of delicious food and there will be plenty to choose from. Locally owned restaurant will be selling delicious meals and carnival treats, and gourmet food trucks will also be on hand, including Rice Rockit, Twister Truck, Munch India and Veritas.  And lets not forget Corn Dogs, Popcorn and Cotton Candy! 

Local community and business organizations will also be supporting the event at Business Alley.  Stop by and visit more than 15 booths showcasing everything from Purses to Cake Pops, martial arts demonstrations and our local Police and Firefighters.

So bring your lawn chairs and come along for an evening of good old-fashioned Carnival fun. The Dublin Unified School District Choir will be performing and a DJ will keep the party atmosphere going all night long.  While entry to the event is free, tickets are required for all games, activities, food and raffle. Cash and checks will be accepted for the Silent Auction. 

There are a number of great discounts available including meal deals and family fun packs (includes wristbands for unlimited games/activities, meal deals and popcorn).  Cash and checks only will be accepted at the event.

All funds raised at the Spring Fling Carnival will be used to fund Dougherty Elementary School programs so this is a great way to have some family fun and giveback to the community at the same time.

Dougherty Principal, Catherine Ward-Mikes commented “Mrs. Anast and I are looking forward to celebrating this evening with our Dougherty Community.  The children have warned us that they cannot wait to dunk us in the dunk tank!  I hope everyone will come out to enjoy good food, and family fun!”

The Carnival will take place at the Dougherty School Campus at 5301 Hibernian Dr, Dublin.
