Dublin Garage Fire Displaces 1, Kills Family Pet
BREAKING: A resident was treated for smoke inhalation.

DUBLIN, CA — A garage fire Wednesday night displaced a Dublin woman from her home, fire officials said. The blaze was reported just after 7:30 p.m. in 7400 block of Tamarack Drive in Dublin. Fire crews from Alameda County, San Ramon Valley and Livermore-Pleasanton fire departments responded to assist.
The woman was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and one cat died due to smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported. Fire officials said the fire was likely caused by an electrical issue. Fire officials said the Red Cross assisted the resident with temporary shelter.
