Dublin High School Students Organize 'Trick Or Trash' Fundraiser
The students are asking Dublin residents to leave out recyclables to help fundraise for schools in Sierra Leone.

DUBLIN, CA — Preparing for Halloween is a lot of work, and there’s bound to be some leftover materials. This Halloween, it will help support education in Sierra Leone.
The Dublin High School Two Birds volunteer club is asking Dublin residents to leave out recyclable material to be collected. The club will sell that material to a local recycling facility, and use the proceeds to support education and clean water for students in Sierra Leone.
In past years, the club has collected more than 11,000 recyclables, and raised almost $1,000 for schools in Sierra Leone, where a civil war destroyed 1,270 schools, and only two in five students are literate.
