1 Dead, 8 Displaced In Dublin House Fire
One person is dead, eight are displaced and major damage is reported after a structure fire on Mayan Court.

DUBLIN, CA — One person is dead and eight people are displaced following a two-alarm house fire that broke out Monday afternoon on the 7000 block of Mayan Court in Dublin, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
The fire was reported at 3:42 p.m. at a single-family home on the 7000 block of Mayan Court.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, ACFD Captain Randall West told Patch Monday afternoon. Still, four adults and four children were displaced, ACFD said on Twitter. One person died after CPR efforts by first responders on-scene. A dog was also transferred to a pet hospital.

The home sustained "major damage," West said.
The cause of the fire and extent of the structural damage remains under investigation.
