Man Shot And Killed At Dublin Sports Grounds (patch.com) — Residents in Dublin are reeling after a man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of the Dublin Sports Grounds on Dublin Boulevard. Police say all known suspects were quickly taken into custody and there is no ongoing threat to public safety, while investigators continue to seek additional information from witnesses.

Dublin Harvest Fair Features New Pumpkin Patch, Petting Zoo, Pumpkin Ring Toss & More (patch.com) — Families in Dublin can look forward to the upcoming Harvest Fair at Dublin Heritage Park and Museums, featuring a new pumpkin patch, petting zoo, games, and historic farm experiences. With free admission and low-cost activity wristbands, the event offers hands-on fall fun, local vendors, and a chance to explore the historic Kolb House.

Bay Area high school football roundup 2026: Best of Week 5 action (fresnobee.com) — Dublin High's football team fell to 1-4 after a 37-14 home loss to Monte Vista, where a former Dublin player starred for the visitors. The roundup also recaps dozens of other Bay Area Week 5 high school games, offering context on how Dublin stacks up in a competitive regional field.
   

4. Passenger killed in crash between dump truck and sedan in far-east Alameda County (pleasantonweekly.com) — A passenger was killed Friday when a Honda Civic and a dump-truck-style tractor-trailer collided on Mountain House Road near the eastern edge of Alameda County, in a case now handled by CHP-Dublin. Both drivers stayed at the scene and alcohol isn't suspected, but investigators are asking anyone who saw the crash to call 925-828-0466 and ask for Officer Hartman or Officer Purl.
