Dublin Integrity in Action Invites Community to 'See Dub Run'

From Dublin Integrity in Action:

Come out and enjoy the traditional brown, yellow, orange colors of fall. And how about the not-so-traditional purple, pink, red, and blue colors? The Dublin Unified School District, in partnership with Dublin Integrity In Action, presents their 4th Annual Wellness Fair and See Dub Run 10K Run and 5K Color Run/Walk, Sunday morning, October 9, at Dublin High School, in Dublin.

Both the 5K Walk/Run and 10K Run will start and finish at Dublin High. Both courses are flat, fast courses, with the option of running through the 5K "color" (multi-color powders thrown onto participants) or "no-color" stations. The safety-monitored courses will incorporate the Dublin High campus and nearby streets.

This fun, family and friends’ event promotes and supports Wellness, Bullying Prevention, and Character Education programs. All funds raised from See Dub Run will support these programs in the Dublin Unified School District.

Along with all the action on the courses, participants will receive a custom cotton SeeDubRun T-shirt (or upgrade to a Dri-Fit shirt), refreshments, entry into the Wellness Fair, Award ceremony, and more. All participants will be chip-timed, with results posted online.

See Dub Run 5K and 10K prizes will be awarded to the top male/female plus 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group: 9 and under, 10-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+.

Entry fees are as followed:

• Adult: 18 year and older, $40 per person
• Ages: 6 - 17 years old, $25. per person
• Ages: 5 and under, $10 per person
• 5K Family/Friends Group discount, $100, each additional family member $25 per person.

The 4th Annual Wellness Fair and See Dub Run 10K Run and 5K Color Run/Walk will be headquartered (start/finish) at Dublin High School, located at 8151 Village Parkway, in Dublin. Race-day registration and check in will open at 7:00 a.m., with the 10K start at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K at8:30 a.m. The Wellness Fair will be held from 8:30-11:00 a.m.

Early Race-Packet Pickup

Bib number may be picked up in advance Saturday, October 8th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The FIT-Potato, 6894 Village Parkway, Dublin, CA 94568. Of course, bib number will also be available for pick-up race morning.
