Dublin Mobile Disaster Recovery Center Will Help Fire Survivors
The Dublin office will be open for three days in January.
DUBLIN, CA — A Mobile Disaster Recovery Center will be in open in Dublin in January to help those displaced by the recent wildfires. The office, which will be jointly operated by the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, will be located at 4985 Broder Boulevard in Dublin.
The Dublin office is one of six opening in five Northern California counties. Fire surviors may stop by between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on January 3, 4, and 5. Officials said survivors should file insurance claims for homes, businesses and cars before they apply for FEMA assistance.

The Camp Fire began in Butte County on Nov. 8 and quickly spread across 240 square miles killing at least 85 people and displaced thousands more. Most of Paradise was charred within 24 hours. Nearly 19,000 buildings, mostly homes, were destroyed. It was the nation's deadliest and most destructive wildfire in a century.
