Letter to Editor: Resident Will Vote Yes on Measure H for Excellent Dublin Schools

Amador Elementary School PFC President and SCC Chair explains why Dublin schools need voters to pass Measure H.

Dear Editor:

When my family and I moved to Dublin, I was thrilled to join a community with such outstanding local schools. Dublin teachers are highly qualified and are dedicated to providing a quality education to our students. My children receive an excellent education.

As PFC President at Amador Elementary, I have the opportunity to get involved and see my children’s education firsthand. And this spring, we have the opportunity to do something great for our schools—pass Measure H.

Our schools are quickly becoming overcrowded as more students are attending our schools. And it’s no surprise – families move here because our schools are among the best! But we need more classrooms and schools to prevent overcrowding so our students continue receiving a quality education.

Measure H will do just that. Measure H will build the first phase of a second high school, repair outdated and aging schools, and make essential modernizations to science labs and classrooms. All of our Dublin students deserve a quality education, don’t they?

I have volunteered to co-chair the grassroots campaign for Measure H because I want all Dublin students to have an excellent education. I also want to make sure that people have the information and understand how vital Measure H is for our community.
