Local fire departments, homeowner associations and others are working together to develop the Alameda County Community Wildfire Protection Plan. During three upcoming Saturday workshops residents are invited to add their local insights to the planning efforts.
A Community Wildfire Protection Plan is a collaboratively developed guide that identifies wildfire hazards, prioritizes ways to reduce those hazards and recommends things homeowners and communities can do to reduce homes from igniting.
