Letter to Editor: Resident Says Ballesteros and Goel Will Take a Stand
Mia Teetsel believes Dublin needs leaders who have a long-term vision for Dublin.

Dear Editor:
I have been a resident of Dublin for 36 years and a realtor since 1999. I have seen too much unchecked growth with very little thought to infrastructure.
In the 90s it was difficult to sell homes in Dublin because the schools weren’t top rated. Now our schools are excellent, but realtors face a new challenge: buyers fear continued overcrowding in schools and do not want to live in an IKEA-labeled city. They choose other cities that have a downtown and better infrastructure.

Dublin needs leaders who have a long-term vision for Dublin. Dublin needs council members not bound to developers. Dublin needs decision makers that put the community interest first.
Dublin needs a 2016 council who is willing to take a stand against out of control traffic and big warehouse stores such as IKEA. Dublin needs Ballesteros & Goel.

I wholeheartedly support Mona Lisa Ballesteros and Arun Goel for Dublin City Council. Both of these candidates have taken a public stand against the unchecked exponential growth and against IKEA. I trust them to negotiate and bring in commercial, retail, and/or tech companies that answer resident needs and wishes.
