Letter to Editor: Resident Says Doreen Wehrenberg, Melissa Hernandez Strah Will Work for Community
Jean Josey believes both candidates have a proven track record.

Dear Editor,
Dublin has grown rapidly and there is no doubt we are experiencing negative side effects from too many developments that were approved many years ago. However, important issues in Dublin go beyond growth. The small businesses that drive our retail economy are struggling to afford their leases; restaurants are going out of business because patrons are going elsewhere; basic infrastructure is aging in the older parts of town and needs attention. Crime is up on both sides of town.
We need City Council members who are interested in solving all of these issues, not members who have an agenda. Doreen Wehrenberg and Melissa Hernandez Strah will work for all residents of Dublin, not just those on one side of town. Both have a proven track record. Ms. Hernandez Strah is the only non-incumbent who regularly attends City Council meetings.

We only see the other two when a popular hot-button issue is on the agenda. For these reasons, I'll be voting Wehrenberg and Hernandez Strah. I hope you will too.
Sincerely,
