DUBLIN, CA — A Livermore man was formally charged with felony manslaughter in connection to a fatal pedestrian collision last summer in Dublin, Pleasanton Weekly reported.
Giovanni Fissore, 42, was arrested July 31 following a collision on Dougherty Road that killed 39-year-old Roni Gage of Dublin. Gage was reportedly walking in the southbound lanes of Dougherty Road just north of Dublin Boulevard, away from a crosswalk, when she was struck by a Chevrolet SUV belonging to Fissore.
Police say that Fissore’s wife and daughter were in the car, and that his blood-alcohol readings and field sobriety tests were above the legal driving limit.
