New Dublin School Superintendent in Place For 2016-17 School Year
She replaced Dr. Stephen Hanke who retired at the end of the last school year.

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin Unified School district has hired a new superintendent. Dr. Leslie Boozer has replaced Dr. Stephen Hanke, who retired on June 30.
Dr. Boozer is now settled into her new position and has written an open letter introducing herself to the community:

I am so proud and honored to be your new Superintendent. Even in the short time I’ve been in Dublin, this much is very apparent: the Dublin Unified School District is poised for continued success and I’m excited and prepared to contribute.
With effective leadership at the Board level, a strong and thoughtful Strategic Plan in place to guide our work, outstanding leadership at the site and district levels, exemplary teachers and support staff, incredible parents and students as our partners, continued strong partnership with our community and city, and strong fiscal policies and planning in place, we are well-prepared for the future opportunities in the upcoming school year.

Without any doubt, Dublin students are continuing to learn and achieve at greater levels each year. This sustained growth is tied to our dedicated staff, remarkable community support and our effective use of resources.
We are committed to continued improvement and enhancing learning opportunities for every student in every school.
