Newly Formed 'East Bay Community Energy Authority' Seeks Community Advisers

Dublin is among 11 cities in region to join the program aimed at securing cheaper, greener energy alternatives for locals. Interested?

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA –The East Bay Community Energy Authority, created in January by cities in Alameda County to help provide cheaper, greener alternative energy options for residents, is accepting applications for its Community Advisory Committee.

Alameda County and 11 cities, Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Oakland, Piedmont, San Leandro and Union City, formed the new program which is governed by a Joint Powers Agreement among participating jurisdictions. Each jurisdiction is represented on the Board by one of its elected officials.
