Omatochi Founder and CEO Deka Dike Earns National Recognition for Leadership and Impact Do you lik

Senior care entrepreneur recognized for community impact and commitment to improving care access for aging adults and families

DUBLIN, CA - Omatochi, a California-based care coordination and in-home support organization helping older adults age safely, independently and with dignity, is proud to announce that Founder and CEO Deka Dike has been named one of the 2026 100 Women to KNOW in America by KNOW Women.

The 100 Women to KNOW in America Award recognizes influential female leaders across the country for their professional accomplishments, leadership, community impact and commitment to empowering future generations of women. Dike’s national recognition reflects her work as a California-based entrepreneur building a mission-driven senior care organization focused on helping aging adults and their families access coordinated, compassionate care, resources and support through a model that extends beyond traditional in-home care. The honors follow Dike’s recognition as an EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2025 Bay Area Award winner, further underscoring her growing impact as a founder and business leader in the senior care space.

Founded from Dike’s own family caregiving experience, Omatochi combines compassionate caregiving, care coordination, healthcare navigation, social connection, community education and technology-enabled family communication tools to help seniors age with dignity and families navigate care before a crisis occurs.

“Omatochi was built from a deeply personal place,” said Dike. “After seeing my own family navigate care for an aging loved one, I knew families needed more support, more guidance and more connection. These recognitions are incredibly meaningful because they reflect the mission behind Omatochi and the work our team is doing every day to make senior care more compassionate, accessible and easier for families to navigate.”

Before founding Omatochi, Dike built a successful career in banking, rising from a part-time teller role to vice president. Her path to senior care was shaped by her personal experience trying to help care for her aging father from thousands of miles away while her mother served as his primary caregiver. That experience opened her eyes to the communication gaps, resource barriers and emotional strain many families face when trying to support an aging loved one.

Today, Dike leads Omatochi with a focus on improving care access for underserved seniors, strengthening family communication and helping older adults receive more coordinated, culturally aware and person-centered support. Through its work with managed care organizations, caregivers, families and community partners, Omatochi helps connect seniors to services that support their health, independence and overall quality of life.

Dike’s recent honors come at a time when families across the country are navigating increasingly complex senior care decisions, caregiver shortages, Medicaid access challenges and a growing need for proactive aging-in-place support.
