The pedestrian suffered serious injuries, said Capt. Nate Schmidt. The cause of the accident remains under investigation. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police, he said.Regional Street was closed until 2:15 p.m.

Join the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department for our 2026 Fire Safety Expo on Saturday, October 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the LPFD Training Tower in Pleasanton.
This free community event is about more than watching firefighters in action. It is an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and take simple steps to help your household be better prepared.
Community members will have the opportunity to:
