Swalwell To Hold Town Hall & Scam-Stopper Seminar
Mark your calendars for the scam workshop and resource fair aimed at seniors and to meet up with your local congressman at the Town Hall.
EAST BAY, CA – Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-15) will host two events, a Town Hall and a scam-awareness workshop, in coming days for 15th Congressional District residents.
SENIOR RESOURCE FAIR & SCAM STOPPER SEMINAR
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, July 30 at the Eden United Church of Christ, 21455 Birch St., Hayward, CA 94541.

Swalwell’s staff, Senior Scam Stopper speakers from the California Contractors State License Board and representatives from local senior-service agencies will provide information on protection against construction-related scams, as well as fraud involving identity theft, auto repair, Medicare, foreign lotteries and mail. A resource fair, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., will offer information from several community organizations providing services to senior citizens.
This event is free and open to all 15th District senior citizens, their families and caregivers.

15TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT TOWN HALL
This event will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at Hayward High School, 1633 East Ave., Hayward, CA 94541.
Congressman Swalwell will provide a brief update on what’s happening in Washington, D.C., and then will take questions. This event is free and open to all 15th District residents. For speedier entry, residents are encouraged to print free tickets through EventBrite at https://tinyurl.com/CA15TownHall.

Swalwell's 15th Congressional District includes San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Sunol, Hayward, Union City, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Danville, Cherryland, Ashland and Fairview as well as parts of Fremont and Danville.
