Traffic Advisory: Tassajara Road Work Starts This Week
The speed limit will be reduced during the construction.

Dublin, CA — Road work will shift a lane on a busy Dublin road this week, city officials said. The speed limit will be reduced and a lane will be shifted on Tassajara Road south of Fallon Road due to the road widening work beginning on July 12.
"The existing northbound and southbound lanes will be shifted to the eastern half of the roadway pavement," city officials said in a statement. "Also, for increased safety, the speed limit on Tassajara Road will be temporarily reduced to 35 miles per hour in the construction zone."
On Tuesday, workers will be stationed at both Silvera Ranch Drive and Fallon Road, where the lane shift will occur, to direct and manage the flow of traffic to allow installation of a barrier.

"Both northbound and southbound traffic lanes are expected to reopen prior to the peak afternoon commute," officials said. "We apologize for the inconvenience as we work to improve the quality and safety of our roads."
Tassajara Road will remain in this configuration for approximately four weeks.
