Polytope de Persepolis at L.A. State Historic Park

This engaging performance will coincide with the opening of Iannis Xenakis' exhibition at the MOCA Pacific Design Center. It will attempt to recreate the 1971 performance of the same name, which was held at the actual ancient sight of Persepolis in Persia. Performers will employ projections, lasers, and smoke. It is free and open to the public. Xenakis, the creator of the original performance, is known for his eccentric pieces which usually involve mathematics and architectural motifs.
