• Police: Hand grenade found at Cooley Landing in East Palo Alto (newsbreak.com) — Police have closed part of Cooley Landing in East Palo Alto after someone reported what appeared to be a hand grenade in the water and moved it onto the shore. The bomb squad is handling the device, and officers are urging residents never to touch suspicious or potentially explosive items, but instead leave the area and call emergency services immediately.
