• Mailman allegedly attacks, wounds a beloved white peacock in Pasadena (pasadenastarnews.com) — A well-known white peacock nicknamed "Sugar" was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon after an alleged altercation with a mail carrier on Mohawk Street in East Pasadena, and the incident is now under investigation by Pasadena Humane and USPS. The bird is receiving veterinary care and appears to be improving, while officials review security footage and broader concerns about peafowl conflicts in the area.
