2 Richmond Men Arrested in Connection with Friday Night Shooting Identified
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue around 8:30 p.m., according to police.

Two people arrested in connection with a shooting on Friday night in Richmond have been identified, police said. Police arrested Oswaldo Sanchez, 19, and Omar Rodriguez, 24, both of Richmond, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Richmond police Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue around 8:30 p.m., police said. No injuries were reported. Abetkov said police also recovered a handgun and narcotics at the residence of one of the suspects.
Charges for the suspected narcotics offenses are pending, she said.
