Man Shot Sunday Morning in Richmond Dies in Hospital

A 27-year-old man who was critically injured in a shooting in Richmond early Sunday morning died from his injuries Tuesday. Travis Diaz of Richmond was pronounced dead in the hospital on Tuesday evening, Richmond police said.

Diaz was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the 100 block of 20th Street at about 1:20 a.m. Sunday, according to police. Police have not identified any suspects in the case, which is now being investigated as a homicide.
