Richmond Double Shooting Leaves 1 Dead
The shooting happened Tuesday night. The other victim is in critical condition.

RICHMOND, CA — A double shooting turned fatal Tuesday night in Richmond, according to police.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter gunshot detection system activation in the 2500 block of Andrade Ave at 10:52 p.m., and while en route a witness called police to report that a shooting had occurred.
They found two men suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene, one of whom was unresponsive. He died at the scene.

The survivor was transported to a hospital and was listed in critical condition today, according to police Lt. Matt Stonebraker.
Suspect information or a potential motive in the shooting have not yet been released.
