Purse Bingo event to return with a night of purses, prizes and purpose (sandiegouniontribune.com) — A popular Purse Bingo fundraiser is returning Oct. 13 to the Encinitas Community Center, offering designer purses, auctions, raffles, and a new Golden Ticket twist. Hosted by Coastal Encinitas Rotary, the night raises money for local nonprofits supporting women, children, and families across San Diego County. The community choice program aims to offer higher renewable energy content than SDG&E, with three pricing tiers. Customers can still opt out and remain with SDG&E if they prefer.
