Tarzana Chiropractor Charged in Case Involving Female Patient
Dr. Marwan Loutfi Chahayed, who practices in El Monte, was charged Wednesday with two felony counts.
A chiropractor accused of inappropriately touching a female patient was released from jail today on $125,000 bail.
Dr. Marwan Loutfi Chahayed, 50, of Tarzana, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two sexual felony counts.
The criminal complaint alleges that the crimes occurred on May 24, 2011, and involved one woman.

Chahayed practices at an office in El Monte, according to El Monte police Detective Ralph Batres. The detective said evidence was gathered against Chahayed through the use of DNA and the cooperation of the alleged victim.
