Vote for Your Favorite Carmichael Home Lighting Display
Homes light up the Carmichael nights.
With two days until Christmas, Carmichael Patch wants you to vote on which decorated Carmichael home has the best display.
Some great houses were found with beautiful lights throughout Carmichael. Here are just a few to highlight the great displays. Be sure to vote for your favorite in the comments and let us know and/or post your own photos of any houses we missed.
Maria Janelle, who lives at 6930 Lisa Marie Way, said she has been putting up a Christmas display for five years now. Janelle's display includes neighborhood children and five years ago started with four and has now grown to 110. Her display includes a "Santa" side and a "Jesus" side. Janelle said her two daughters help with the engineering and the photographs of all the children. Everything else is done on her own. With a corner lot, her house lights up the entire neighborhood.

Another corner lot house is at 5611 Whitney Ave. The homeowner was not available for comment but a sign posted out front says it is all thanks to Low Dollar Drafting Service. The display includes many inflatable figures and even has a Santa that has a light show set to music.
The house at 3337 Garfield Ave. is a classic house with Christmas lights. With its two archways covered in colorful lights, it is sure to catch people's attention.

Grant Avenue has a lot of great displays but the different figures displayed at 5801 catches one's attention. It has different Santas, from one basking in the sun between two palm trees to one riding his "HOG" motorcycle.
Even some apartment complexes along Marconi Avenue have pitched in on lighting up the season. An apartment is found just outside the Marconi Gardens East Apartments at 4800 Marconi Ave. The three trees play to music and are very fun to look at.
So again, please let us know which of these homes you like the best and why and show us any others out there.
