FOSTER CITY, CA — Peninsula police are looking for a man who hit a child while he was riding his bike in Foster City this week, the agency says. The man apparently stopped for a moment after the collision, but then left the scene, making the incident a "hit-and-run" case, police say.
"The collision involved a 12-year-old male bicyclist and a motor vehicle," Foster City police said in a news release. "The male bicyclist was traveling south on Shell Boulevard when he was struck by a brown 4 door sedan exiting Balclutha Dr. onto Shell Blvd."
The collision caused the boy to fall off his bike. He suffered a minor injury to his ankle, police said.
