Chamber Hosting Social Media Coaching Session

Want more "likes" and "followers" without wasting all day in front of your computer?

The Foster City Chamber of Commerce later this month is hosting a social media coaching session that it says can help business professionals improve their social networking experience.

The session will be presented by social networking and sales consultant  Michael Neuendorff.

The session aims to develop strategies and best practices that will help professionals adapt to a changing business landscape.

According to the Chamber's website, the following concepts will be emphasized at the session:

• What social media marketing really is and why use it.
• Introduction to social media channels and how to evaluate what's right for your business or organization.
• How small businesses are using these low-cost tools to gain visibility, develop relationships and drive sales and response.
• How to create good content for your social media marketing campaigns and time management.
• How to balance social media marketing with email marketing and your other marketing efforts.

The session will be held on Oct. 20 at the Chamber on 1031 E Hillsdale Blvd., Suite F. Admission to the session is $50 to the public and $25 for Chamber members. Gold Circle member will not be required to pay for admission to this event.
