The work will take place on Sailfish Isle, Sunfish Court, Windjammer Circle, and the streets of Teal, Flying Fish, Surfperch, Cod and Bowfin, according to public works officials.
City officials said they expect the work to be completed in about six weeks or by about Sept. 18.

The work will consist of installing curb ramps and repairing road failures before crews repave the streets, according to city officials.
The work will normally take place Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but crews may need to work during other times of the day too, according to city officials.
Streets may be closed temporarily and street parking prohibited on resurfacing days, according to the city. Residents who will be on vacation are being asked to avoid parking on their street to avoid being towed, city officials said.
The city has hired G. Bortolotto & Company Inc. of San Carlos to do the work, according to city officials.
The company will send residents two notices of the dates of the planned work before it begins, city officials said. Residents will get the notices seven to 10 days and 48 to 72 hours before works begins, public works director/city engineer Jeff Moneda said.
Construction crews will post temporary signs along the streets under construction to alert motorists of parking restrictions, city officials said.
Residents may not be able to access their driveway during workdays, so city officials suggest residents park on a nearby street during those days.
Residents can call the city’s public works department at (650) 286-3270 for more information or to ask questions. The latest information can also be found at www.fostercity.org.
Foster City ranks as having one of the best-maintained system of roads in the Bay Area and this annual work contributes to those high rankings, city officials said.
