Centropa spent seven years interviewing the oldest Jews still living in Poland about all aspects of twentieth century life.
Centropa digitized 1,600 privately-held family snapshots, and every picture has been uploaded into a searchable database, accompanied by the story that goes with it. Select stories and photographs appear in the form of 6-foot-tall banners that line the PJCC gallery walls.
This event is made possible by the Koret-Taube Initiative for Jewish Peoplehood, and the Jewish Community Endowment Fund.
