Man Falls From Overpass onto 55 Freeway
A 58-year-old man died after falling or jumping from the overpass onto the 55 Freeway.

Police today are investigating the death of a 58- year-old man, who may have jumped from a freeway overpass into busy traffic on the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway in Costa Mesa.
The man was later identified as Costa Mesa resident Wade Terbush, according to the Coroner’s Office.
A little after midnight on Thursday, a witness driving south on the 55 Freeway, near the Victoria Avenue onramp, reported seeing a man fall “onto the emergency lanes of the freeway from the street above,” said Costa Mesa police Sgt. Cameron Phillips.

It was not clear if Terbush was hit by a vehicle or was fatally injured from the fall.
Paramedics rushed him to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, where he died from his injuries at 7:57 a.m. Thursday, according to the Coroner’s Office.
