Police released a list of crimes submitted to the Alameda County District Attorney's Office for charging.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police arrested three suspects following a convenience store robbery last Monday, Jan. 22, with the assistance of Newark Police. They also recovered stolen cigarettes from the vehicle used in the robbery, a car that also turned out to be stolen. Police said that the recovered property is worth about $10,000.
Police were notified of a robbery at a convenience store on Central Ave. at 10:43 p.m. The store clerk told responding officers that two masked suspects came into the store and began to take cigarettes from behind the sales counter.
"The suspects made threats to the clerks and made gestures that caused the clerks to believe that they were armed," police said in a statement on Nixle. "The suspects fled in a vehicle."
The suspect vehicle was found nearby, and police pursued the car into Newark where the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a curb near the intersection of Central Avenue and Cedar Boulevard.
The driver, later identified as Zocari Randy Hicks, and front passenger, later identified as Warren Christopher Rodgers Jr, jumped out of the vehicle and took off on foot.
The suspect vehicle's rear passenger, later identified as Keotis King Patterson, obeyed the officers' commands and was taken into custody.
Newark Police arrived as the two suspects fled on foot. A Newark Police Officer captured Rodgers a short distance away.
As a perimeter was being established, Fremont Officers spotted Hicks and a foot pursuit ensued. He was captured and taken into custody.
When officers searched the vehicle they recovered the cigarettes taken from the convenience store.
When they popped the trunk of the vehicle police say they found a bag filled with cartons of cigarettes that were suspected to have been stolen from other convenience stores in the area.
When a check was run on the suspect vehicle found out that it had been reported stolen out of a nearby city. "The total recovered loss was estimated to be $10,000," police report.
