FREMONT, CA — Climbing Mission Peak is an obtainable challenge right here in Fremont. One, perhaps, for end-of-the-year holidays? You can reach the 2,517 foot summit via a steep trail that gains 2,000 feet in elevation in just over three miles. You will be rewarded with 360-degree views.

Chase the dog is 10-years-old and still makes the trek to the summit of Mission Peak. Here is another photo taken when she braved snow to reach the summit.
