Alleged Car Thief Leads Fremont Police on Brief Chase
The pursuit ended on Mission Boulevard.

FREMONT, CA - Police in Fremont are looking for two suspects who allegedly led officers on a brief pursuit in a stolen vehicle Tuesday.
At 8:33 a.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the 100 block of Mission Road. Dispatchers determined the vehicle had been reported stolen out of San Ramon.
Marked police units arrived on the scene and attempted a felony stop on the parked vehicle, according to police. Police said the driver initially refused to exit the vehicle and drove away after a few minutes.

Officers pursued the vehicle for about two minutes before a monitoring sergeant terminated the pursuit. The vehicle was last seen heading north on Mission Boulevard. The vehicle is described as a white 1998 Acura with California license plate number 4UIJ550.
The driver was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s who wore a gray hooded sweatshirt. There was also a female passenger in the car being sought, police said.
