Fremont Gunman Flees On Interstate: Police

No arrests have been made. Police are asking for witnesses to come forward.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police report a shooting in the area of Stevenson Boulevard and Farwell Drive shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say that "a witness called 911 and reported hearing shots fired as a subject in a dark colored sedan waived a gun out the window at subjects in a second vehicle."

When police got to the scene of the shooting they found out that both vehicles left in the direction of I-880 and headed northbound.

Police have not confirmed any injuries. Detectives are trying to learn what led up to the shooting.
