Earthquake Felt Friday Morning In Bay Area
The jolt follows dozens of earthquakes that have been recorded daily over the past six days in the same location.
BAY AREA, CA — The United States Geological Survey is reporting a 2.9 magnitude earthquake centered in Milpitas. The earthquake was reported at 8:39 a.m. Friday.
There haven't been any reports of injuries or damage due to the earthquake.
Friday's earthquake follows more than two dozen earthquakes since Sunday that have measured at least 1.0 in the same location —

Sunday's quakes:
- 3.5 at 10:16 p.m.
- 3.4 at 3:54 p.m.

- 2.0 at 3:58 p.m.
- 1.8 at 11:05 p.m.

Minor earthquakes have also been centered in Union City, Berkeley and Livermore this week.
