Fremont Lottery Winner May Buy Home With Winnings

FREMONT, CA — “I couldn’t believe it. I was speechless,” Erik A. Mendoza said of the moment he realized he'd won $750,000 on a lottery scratcher. “I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t believe it.”

Mendoza stopped by the 7-Eleven at 42245 Fremont Blvd. on a recent Saturday morning where he purchased the winning California Gold Scratcher.
