SAN FRANCISCO, CA — San Franciscans rejoice, for a championship team will once again parade around city streets.

The Golden State Valkyries, in only their second year as a franchise, won their first WNBA championship on Saturday after defeating the Atlanta Dream in a best-of-seven series that went to the tipping point.

Now, the Valkyries will host their championship parade on Wednesday, where city officials and other Bay Area legends will be in attendance for the city's first since the Warriors took home the NBA crown again in 2022.

The parade will start at the Ferry Building near Mission Street and end on Second and King streets.
