Fremont Store Manager Assaulted By Robbers

It happened at the Fremont Hub Shopping Center.

FREMONT, CA — Fremont Police are searching for two suspects who assaulted a store manager when they were confronted about stealing 83 bottles of fragrances.

It happened at a store in the Fremont Hub around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say the pair then filled up store bags withdozens of fragrances, which set off the alarm as they tried to leave the store. That's when the manager confronted them, asking them to return the items. One of the suspects then physically assaulted the manager.

The first suspect was described as a black man, in his mid 20s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with an unshaven face. He wore a black baseball cap, a black T-shirt with a gray emblem, blue jeans black tennis shoes, police said.

The second suspect was also described as a black man in his mid 20s, between 5 feet 10 and 5 feet 11 tall, weighing about 180 pounds and with an unshaven face. He wore a black beanie, a gray T-shirt with a black and white emblem, blue jeans and white tennis shoes, according to police.
