Fremont Unified School District made the announcement on Friday.
FREMONT, CA — Fremont Unified School District will be closing from Monday until the end of March to mitigate the spread of the novel coronavirus, the district announced Friday.
Students will stop attending class beginning Monday, though staff and facility will be on campus until Tuesday as they undergo preparations for remote learning plans.
FUSD will be fully closed from Wednesday to March 27, and no parts of campuses will be open to the public. The tentative reopening date is March 30, but the closure may be extended as local, state and federal officials provide updates about the spread of the coronavirus.
