Gold Chain Ripped From Woman's Neck
It happend in the middle of the afternoon as the woman walked down a Fremont street.

FREMONT, CA- A woman walking down a road in Fremont had her gold chain ripped off her neck and stolen Thursday afternoon in Fremont, according to police.
The victim was walking west on Mission View Drive around 2:55 p.m. when the suspect approached and ripped the chain off her neck.
The suspect was described as a thin, dark skinned black man weighing roughly 160 pounds and roughly 6 feet tall.

He initially fled on foot, but may have left the area in a silver 4-door Mazda 323 with damage to the rear passenger side quarter panel, police said.
