Guns Stolen From Fremont Home During Daytime Burglary
A neighbor witnessed the theft and confronted the burglar.

FREMONT, CA - Police are investigating a residential burglary where two guns were stolen last week in Fremont.
According to police, officers responded to the 100 block of Esparito Avenue at 10:49 a.m. after a witness reported seeing a man leaving their neighbors house with two guns.
The witness told police they attempted to confront the suspect however he quickly threw the guns into a vehicle and fled at high speed heading north on Mission Boulevard.

Police said a search team entered the victim's home to determine if there were any injured victims, however no one was home at the time of the incident.
According to police, the homeowner said the two guns were taken without permission.

The suspect was described as an Asian man in his 20s or 30s around five feet eight inches tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hat, a dark blue sweatshirt and dark pants.
The suspect vehicle was described as a "brand new" dark gray 4-door sedan bearing paper license plates.
